When they can't get the Queen to tell the Walrus to leave, they decide to exclude and ignore him. Alice is the first to meet the Walrus and learns the rumors are completely false. But when her friends refuse to believe and leave the Queen's party to not associate with him, the Queen treats them the same way and teaches them that it is wrong to exclude someone without getting to know them first.
