Daksh becomes annoyed on learning that Narad has motivated his sons to take renunciation. He vents his anger on Narad, and curses him. Daksh urges the rishis to marry his daughters. The innocent people face the atrocities of Daksh's army. Mahadev helps them to fight against the injustice. Daksh's army tries to attack Mahadev, but in vain.
