Jean grills Kat about Phil's sentence, but she is adamant her feelings will not change, and Bailey hatches a plan after seeing Karen and Mitch arguing over their sleeping arrangements. Janine is hurt by another rejection from Scarlett, so Mick intervenes in an attempt to bring mother and daughter together.
