The tight-knit community of eastside Buffalo, NY is stunned in 1994 when the body of beautician and single mom Cynthia Epps is found stuffed into a cabinet placed in a neighbor's backyard next to a vacant lot cut-through; she had been raped, stabbed and nearly decapitated. A clever killer eludes capture for 16 years, but new technology and dogged detective work put him behind bars.
