Los artistas incorporados de este año son Pat Benatar, Duran Duran, Eminem, Eurythmics, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie y Carly Simon. Judas Priest y Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis recibirán el Premio a la Excelencia Musical, Harry Belafonte y Elizabeth Cotten el Premio a la Influencia Temprana, y Allen Grubman, Jimmy Iovine y Sylvia Robinson el Premio Ahmet Ertegun.
